Dr. Hoda Mahmoudi, on Transforming Human Consciousness

by staff

Over a century ago, Baháʼu’lláh, the founder of the Baháʼí Faith, proclaimed the equality of man and woman. He included it as an integral element of the social order he envisioned. He supported it by laws requiring the same standard of education for women as for men, and equality of rights in society. “The world of humanity has two wings—one is women and the other men,” wrote ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, “Not until both wings are equally developed can the bird fly. Should one wing remain weak, flight is impossible.” This interview was recorded in1995 at CPAT Chanel 3, Claremont.
